Still, it was a good chance to try out my new Nikon D70s. Finally... a REAL camera. :) Saigon, like Hanoi, was a colourful city. A hangover of the old land-parcel allotment days, buildings in Vietnam were made out of symetrical same-sized land plots. They were generally thin from the front but went deep. The interesting thing was that each owner could paint his little lot the colour he wanted... and there wasn't really much coordination. The result: a colourful mosaic... sometime gawdy but at least it wasn't boring. :) Posted by Picasa
